Nespresso Vertuo Capsule Recycler with Metal Blade Foil Cutter.

We love coffee, hence the reason why we got a Vertuo. Pods can get expensive, so why not refill the aluminum cups with some good local beans? Well, with this “recycler” you can. Includes the original plastic pod cutter with storage ring for free. Optional cutter with all metal blades available for just a few more dollars. Free sheet of foil lids with every purchase! WARNING…NOT DISHWASHER SAFE! HAND WASH ONLY PLEASE! 😁 Note: you do not use this in the coffee maker! This helps you refill previously used pods. Double Note: Hope it goes without saying but the used coffee pod is NOT included with this kit. Please provide your own coffee before beginning! ;) How to use: 1. Use the cutter ring to open up a Nespresso vertuo pod. 2. Discard contents of old coffee. 3. Place pod in the Recycler’s stand. 4. Take a piece of aluminum foil (regular duty) (or use a pre made foil lid from Amazon- 4 free included with each purchase)and fold it over so you have a double layer of foil large enough to completely cover the pod. (Found the regular aluminum foil doubled up worked better than heavy duty to hold up to pressure of the brew, but feel free to experiment!) Place the aluminum foil over the pod and use the topper to press down, crimping the aluminum foil to the pod. 5. Trim excess aluminum foil from around the coffee pod in stand being careful not to fold the foil over the lip of the pod and cover up the barcode. That barcode is essential for the coffee maker to run, and if it’s covered the brew won’t cycle. Keep pressure on the topper while you trim to avoid pulling up the aluminum foil. 6. Remove pod from stand, and place pod in maker (not too roughly mind you) and just keep an eye on it while it closes to make sure the pod sits nicely in its spot. 7. Brew and Enjoy!!! Repeat over and over again. Will save tons of money in the long run!
