Capture any object,
exactly as it is.
Our newest scanning system gives metrology grade accuracy without markers and without scanning spray. If it exists, we can turn it into a file you can use.
Accurate scans, not just pretty ones
Plenty of scanners produce something that looks right. We measure. Our system holds dimensional accuracy to 0.02 mm in every axis, which is the difference between a picture of your part and a file you can build from.
The newest addition to the workshop is a self tracking scanner, so there are no stickers, no markers, and no chalky spray on the object we are capturing. That matters when the thing in your hands is old, delicate, or the only one left.
Rates are competitive, and the deliverables are ones you can hand to an engineer with confidence.

Some jobs take a steady hand
Scanning a rare piece is rarely one and done. A turn of the century street lamp we digitized took multiple detailed sessions, a steady hand, and a fair amount of determination before the data was clean enough to build from.
That is the part most people do not see, and it is exactly why the file you get back is worth having. Complex geometry, deep recesses, and reflective surfaces all get handled rather than glossed over.

Reasons a scan solves the problem
Anything you cannot buy, cannot measure by hand, or cannot risk losing.
Reverse engineering
An existing part becomes an accurate model you can modify, improve, or manufacture again. Ideal when the original drawings are long gone.
Parts nobody sells anymore
Discontinued, obsolete, or out of production. We capture the one you have before it breaks completely.
Restoration and heirlooms
Antiques, instruments, and family pieces get documented and reproduced without being altered or taken apart.
Complex shapes
Curves, organic forms, and castings that no set of calipers is going to describe correctly.
Checking what you made
Compare the part in your hand against the model it came from, and see where it drifted.
Files you can keep
Standard formats on request, so the model is yours to use with any shop, not just ours.
Scan to finished part, all in one shop
Most customers do not want a file. They want the object. We can take it the whole way.
We capture it
You bring the object to Neenah, or we come to it when it cannot travel. The scan happens without touching or coating the piece.
We clean it up
Raw scan data becomes a real model with true dimensions, sharp edges where they belong, and repairs where the original was worn.
We make it real
Print it here in the material that suits the job, or take your file elsewhere. Your call, either way.
Good to know
Do you need to put stickers or spray on my part?
How accurate is it really?
What can you scan?
Can I get the file, or do you keep it?
What does a scan cost?
Let us scan it.
Tell us what needs capturing and what you want to do with it afterward. If scanning is not the right answer, we will say so.
