Pick the material that fits the job

We run both filament and resin printers, so the same shop can make a rugged bracket and a finely detailed display piece.

PLA	Display pieces, gifts, prototypes	The economical choice, with a huge range of colors and finishes.
ABS	Functional parts	Tougher and more heat tolerant, for parts that have a job to do.
Nylon	Wear surfaces and moving parts	Durable and resilient where things rub, flex, or take repeated load.
TPE	Flexible parts	A rubber like material for anything that needs to grip, cushion, or bend.
Resin	Fine detail and smooth surfaces	For small parts and detailed models where layer lines would spoil it.

There are plenty of good print files out there, and Thingiverse alone has more than most people could work through in a lifetime. Find one you want in your hands and send it our way.

With the design work already done, printing is billed at a reasonable hourly rate, so this is the cheapest way to get something made properly. We will still check the file over and tell you if it needs a tweak before it prints well.

No file and no idea where to start? That happens more often, and it is what the design side of the shop is for.

Good to know

How long does a print take?

Days rather than weeks for most jobs. The real answer depends on size, material, and how many you need, so we will give you a timeline with the quote.

What does printing cost?

If you bring a finished file, printing is billed at a reasonable hourly rate. If the part needs designing first, that gets quoted alongside it.

Can you match a color?

We stock a wide range of colors and finishes in PLA, and we will tell you honestly how close a match is going to get.

Can you print something that has to actually work?

Yes, and that is the interesting part of the job. Functional parts get printed in ABS or nylon with the orientation and wall thickness chosen for the load.

Do you do small runs?

One offs and small batches both, whether that is a single replacement part or a box of swag for an event.
